William Perez began his martial arts training unofficially back in 2004 after watching the first season of the ultimate fighter both him and his brother would train and try to emulate the moves and strikes that they saw in the octagon. In a more official capacity his training began in the Army Combatives system when he joined the US Army in 2005. He has competed in several combatives tournaments in AIT and beyond. Around 2011 after completing Army combatives levels 1 and 2, he took training and jiu-jitsu in particularly more serious. Soon after, he began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and muay thai while stationed at FT Hood Texas. Upon relocating due to military committments he found himself emersed in several arts in and around the FT. Lewis area in WA state where he practiced jeet kune do, kali, Koei kan karate, catch wrestling, judo, sambo and gokors Hayastan system to name a few arts, training full-time at multiple schools while teaching Army Combatives on post where he obtained his level 3 combatives instructorship. Later, he moved to Germany where he taught hundreds of soldiers, sailors, airmen and German army, certifing them in Combatives level 1 and 2. William also taught karate and kickboxing on base where he reached over 1500 Volunteer/ Community service hours, as well as training with one of the best German grappling teams, Team Matrix under the tutelage of Dean Lister and later Aaron Milian a John Danaher Black Belt. His final military move landed him in FT. Carson Colorado Springs where he found Iron Forged Martial Arts, in addition to seeking out more knowledge in the arts of sambo and taekwondo as well as training on base with Anthony Santiago who was running the Ft. Carson jiu-jitsu program at the time. Since his medical retirement he has decided to devote his time to teaching his unique blend of catch wrestling and other grappling concepts under the CFS and Team Chaotic banners in addition to Hayastan Top Team under the legendary Gokor Chivichyan.
GEORGE SMITH
Professor
George Smith is a martial arts practitioner with over ten years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, and firearms training. He has also been a public school teacher and administrator for over twenty years, gaining significant leadership experience. Combining his professional experience with technical skills from martial arts training, George is a confident and capable instructor.
George started his Krav Maga training in 2014, which includes elements of muay thai, judo, and jiu-jitsu. He earned his Krav Maga Alliance Level 3 Certification through Krav Maga of Colorado Springs under the instruction of Wingate University certified instructor Robert Koski, and this training sparked his passion for jiu-jitsu. Shortly after, George began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Bill Hoskins, who has lineage under Coral Belt, Rigan Machado. In 2018, George started competing in amateur gi and no-gi Fight 2 Win tournaments and other Colorado-based competitions, performing well in all. In 2024, George earned his black belt under Professor Anthony Santiago, who has lineage under Coral Belt, Master Ken Gabrielson.
When instructing other martial arts practitioners, George takes great pride in developing the whole person, integrating overarching concepts and training-specific movements that students can apply to self-defense and sports competitions.

CHRIS WILSON
Coach
Chris started wrestling in high school and started Jiu Jitsu with his wife and kids in 2019 under Professor Derek Lemos In Lawton, OK. He then trained under Professor Steven Galvez, Professor Kaleb Germany, Professor Aaron Martin, and Professor Marcelo Alonso in Tacoma, WA where he received his blue belt. He has now earned his purple belt under Professor Marcus Wilson and Professor Jon Wilson at Wilson Bros Grappling in Colorado Springs, CO.
AMANDA WILSON
Coach
Amanda started Jiu Jitsu with her husband and kids in 2019 under Professor Derek Lemos In Lawton, OK. She then trained under Professor Steven Galvez, Professor Kaleb Germany, Professor Aaron Martin, and Professor Marcelo Alonso in Tacoma, WA where she received her blue belt. She has now earned her purple belt under Professor Marcus Wilson and Professor Jon Wilson at Wilson Bros Grappling in Colorado Springs, CO.
